  Food was good ,but experience terrible, more for the poor staff who work there as their cook that day was abusive and demeaning to the other staff, very unkindly loudly berating them in front of and within hearing of customers, which I'm sure was embarrassing and demeaning to them and us. We found the serving staff to be competent, articulate and friendly, very helpful, trying their best to get our order just as we requested and going the extra mile to fulfill a special request, which when asked.. the older lady looked as though it would be difficult, (she looked apprehensive) but that she would try anyway, my guess is this particular cook makes the staffs job as unpleasant and difficult as possible every day, I felt very sorry for the young girl (who was so sweet) as this was probably her first job, and I'm sure she won't take good memories when she leaves as she goes thru life. It's terrible to work for a bully ,especially if you have no choice due to circumstances,I can relate to this and hope the owner either fires this female dark haired cook or she learns to understand her behaviour is totally innapropriate and unacceptable.

  Love laverns. make sure you have reservations so uou aren't disappointed. It's a really popular spot.

  Good burgers and fries. As a group of 8 was told that there was 18% mandatory gratuity and that we should have reserved... strange for takeout. They can be really friendly or quite crabby.

  We where a large group and we where kicked out. And they said we should have made a reservation because there where 8 of us. And they wanted to charge extra.
